Job description

Our client is an international leader of high-efficiency heating, cooling and hot-water products and solutions. On a worldwide scale it offers its clients eco-friendly and energy saving solutions that are mainly working on renewable energy sources. The solutions are solar water heater and solar panels systems, heat pumps, ventilation and air-conditioning devices for energy effecient buildings, combined heating and energy systems and high-yield, fossil fuel heating innovations and smart thermostats. These solutions come with a wide variety of additional services.

To ensure current and future sales and market share growth in Belgium with a special focus on Heat Pumps (HP), we are looking for a Business Development Manager for a mission of at least 1 year.


  • Market and competitors analyses, development of actionable insights
  • Develop HP Business plan, HP budget (incl. target setting), HP Sales and Marketing Plan
  • Development of additional (non HP related) initiatives such as direct/online selling or utility strategy
  • Definition and development of the HP proposition roadmap:
  • Definition and development of current value propositions per customer segment
  • Definition and development of segment specific (sales) campaigns
  • Definition, development, trial of new business models (service, connectivity, finance,..)
  • Input to product/service roadmaps
  • Definition and tracking of KPI’s
  • Development of (corrective) actions from data analyses (sales/ pricing)
  • Design the customer journeys and implement the end to end workflows
  • Facilitate project pipe line management/opportunity management: set standards, create dashboards, etc
  • Facilitate Lead Management
  • Single point of contact for HP business info
  • Owner of reporting for HP business info

You report directly to the Country Director Belgium.

Experience & competences

  • Preferably a University Degree
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A master in conceptual thinking, out of the box
  • A strong and pragmatic person with focus on results
  • Persistent, commercial attitude, strong business acumen
  • A strong communicator who is both diplomatic and decisive
  • Experience in business development is a must - A solution developer in complex offers with strong planning skills
  • Trilingual (DU-ENG-FR)
  • A transversal team player who knows how to work independently in projects
  • Enthusiastic/energetic/flexible
